More information. Fresh install from DVD. Solaris B84 The crash was seen on the very fist login using a regular user created during the installation. The same problem was seen with root if I tried to use Gnome. If I clicked on the Panel->"Start menu" the panel crashed and when it was restarted I could crash it again.. (loop).
