Description Lionel Dricot 2008-02-25 22:48:53 UTC
Serpentine shouldn't create a .serpentine folder.

According to fd.o specification, it should put user preferences in
$XDG_CONFIG_HOME.

Any user data should go to $XDG_DATA_HOME. I only see the list of used channels
belonging to this folder.

Any cache stuffs should go to $XDG_CACHE_HOME

I don't have much time.

If someone could step forward with a patch, this would get fixed sooner.

Hello Tiago,

I don't know if Serpentine is still active. If yes, could you give me the DVCS command to branch it ? I will make you the patch.
Comment 3 Tiago Cogumbreiro 2009-07-17 19:42:13 UTC
I will contact you via email, OK?
Comment 4 Lionel Dricot 2009-07-23 13:07:21 UTC
a merge has been proposed without migration heuristic. I believe it doesn't worth the hassle.

Serpentine maintainer(s) have not worked on Serpentine for some years now. This project is not under active development anymore. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone
takes the responsibility for active development again.
