GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 518216
Rotate with 'crop with aspect' crops whole layer in specific cases
Last modified: 2008-10-30 20:10:03 UTC
Please describe the problem: Rotate with 'crop with aspect' crops whole layer in the following cases: - rotate a portrait layer with relatively small angles (< +/- 45 degrees; exact limit seems to depend on aspect ratio) - rotate a landscape layer with relatively large angles (> +/- 45 degrees; exact limit seems to depend on aspect ratio) Steps to reproduce: 1. Create new image: width = 300, height = 420 (for example) 2. Use rotate tool with 'Crop with aspect' and angle for example 10 degrees Actual results: The whole layer is cropped Expected results: Only the borders are cropped Does this happen every time? Yes Other information:
I think I can work out a relatively simple algorithm (simpler than the current one) for crop with aspect, but I need to think about it some more.
