Description Diska 2008-02-18 19:31:37 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Hi if you use tree view in sidebar panel and you choose (show only directory)
nautilus show directory tree and and a label (empty) when you are in a folder without subfolder.

i think i shouldn't show nothing.

Steps to reproduce:
1. navigate with tree view sidebar ( show only folder option)
2. find a folder with only file

Actual results:
show label (empty)

Expected results:
don't show noting

Does this happen every time?
yes

I think this is intentional, you have to make it clear whether a folder is empty. Another way of doing this could be hiding the expander if the folder is empty, but it could be unclear to the user and you could potentially make a lot of I/O when opening a folder (you have to check for every subfolder whether it has files inside).
So my opinion is that this is NOTABUG.

what do you do to write "empty"?
