If there is no CPU activity during this message, then it may be the same problem I have just reported as bug 536278. If you see 100% CPU activity, it may be the bug 463430.

Hi, is this still an issue in a current version of Evolution, like 2.28 or later?
Comment 3 Stanislav Brabec 2010-03-15 13:29:52 UTC
I think I did not see exactly this problem for a long time.

But I see a bit different annoying formatting issue:

1. Start evolution.

2. During first minutes, when evolution scans folders:

2.1 Click to mail in the IMAP folder

2.2 Click to another mail in the same IMAP folder

Current behavior in evolution-2.28:

Evolution takes mouse grab and key grab for a minute without chance to do anything. The grab releases after a minute or so, but evolution jumps to a different mail than I clicked. The CPU load is low.

This issue is not 100% reproducible, but ~30%.
