Description Sjoerd Simons 2008-02-13 09:49:54 UTC
The main contact list window doesn't show any notification of an incoming message.

It would be nice if the status icon of a person turn into a blinking message icon too. The icon in the notification area can be easily missed or even worse a person might not have a notifcation area at all..

I would just keep the icon in the chat window tab synchronised with the one in the roster. If a contact is typing this can be shown in the roster too, same holds for a pending unread message.

I can't really do that properly without the new MC spec for channel dispatcher. Channel filters in current MC is really crappy.

 Hacks could be added, though.
