Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.

Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so and reopen this bug or report a new one. Thanks in advance!

Also, you should upgrade to gthumb 2.10.8.

BugBuddy gives this error when I hit send when I repro the crash with debuginfo so I saved the details to a file and will attach the file

This TGA was generated from the UV Editor in Blender 2.45 on Windows XP. This may have crashed other apps like Paint Shop Pro 8.1

The sample file works for me using gthumb trunk on Fedora 8. Probably a duplicate of bug 468801.
