Hello

Please fix vte so that Arabic text is joined when it is used on gnome-terminal or xfce-terminal or any other terminal that is based on vte.

Having the Arabic text joined is a very basic requirement, Arabic is a recursive language (letters attached to each other) and it is very annoying to even try to read it with the letters un-joined. So please fix it.

It's "cursive", not "recursive" :).

no because the patch was rejected and even worse it's no longer applicable
because the file it used to patch is removed
