Steps to reproduce:
1. use a new version of vino which has the advanced preferences tab
2. check "allow only local connections"
3. connect to this server with vinagre

Other information:
when i uncheck the vino pref, i can connect.
vncviewer can't connect either, so it is a vino bug too, but vinagre shouldn't crash in this case, and here we are ;)
