Description Behdad Esfahbod 2008-01-27 00:44:56 UTC
I tried to view one png file in the cairo/test/ folder, by launching "eog filename.png". Now, the cairo/test/ directly contains several thousands of files. Eog generates a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOT of harddisk traffic before showing up. I simply gave up all the time and eventually used another viewer. Seems like eog scans all files in the base directory of the file to open (not necessarily current directory) before showing the UI.
