Version: 2.18.3 What were you doing when the application crashed? deleting files from sandisk 4GB U3 cruzer micro. Used command line: rm /media/disk/img_70* Then right clicked on desktop icon to check properties of the disk (to make sure the space was freed). On a separate note, in order to even read the stick, I had to (as root): modprobe -r ehci_hcd then unplug, and replug the stick.
