Description:
(I just submitted a very similar report for the Panel crashing at login.)

Ran GNOME for the first time after upgrading from Helix's 1.2, no window manager
though Control Centre says Enlightenment is running.  Changed wm to icewm.

Next time I log in both the Panel and deskguide_applet crash.  (The Panel seems to
have restarted itself successfully.)
