GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 511626
planner doesn't print correct numbers when %Od or %Oy are used
Last modified: 2021-06-09 20:40:03 UTC
Incorrect translation Application: planner Incorrect text: For example (in Persian): d ژانویه y Should be: ۲ ژانویه ۲۰۰۷ (%Od is shown as d while it should be the day number in Persian, and %Oy is shown as y instead of the year number in Persian)
I think this is a bug/feature request in planner. Would you please investigate more? We definitely cannot use European numbers in a Persian date like this: "2 ژانویه 2007".
I'll try to investigate, but I'm a little busy and it might take a long time. It would be nice if someone else can take care of it. Thanks
It would be really helpful if you could a) confirm this bug is still valid with Planner 0.14.5 or 0.14.6 and b) give me the original string that shows this issue (you can run `LANG=C planner` to have it in English and find the string in the UI).
Sorry for the late answer, a) Yes, it is still valid for 0.14.6 b) Sample: Project start 2017 Feb 20 In fa_IR locale, "2017 Feb 20" is shown as "d فوریه y"
