Description Archie Anderson 2008-01-23 15:48:27 UTC
When I go to save a document and the dialog box comes up, the filename "Untitled document" (or whatever) is highlighted. However, if I start typing, instead of editing the filename as I would expect, it brings up the little search box. To change the filename, which is the first natural thing to do when saving a file, I have to click into the filename field, which of course clears the highlighting so I have to manually erase the default filename.

Other information:
This applies only to gnome apps: gedit, gimp, sound recorder, etc. Firefox and Openoffice don't do this.
