Description:
I selected a zip file, instead of a mp3 file, to be played by gtv. That
caused gtv to hang gnome. To be exact, mouse movement didn't change the
focus of windows anymore (fortunately, Alt-tab remain working.)

I found that a Task Manager was really needed to kill ill-behaving
processes.

I ended up using alt-tab to bring my shell window into focus and kill
the process using the shell command. If the shell window had not been
opened, I would not be able to do that.
