GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 510529
Main window minimize/restore unusable after any menu dropdown used.
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:59:47 UTC
Please describe the problem: If any main menu dropdowns were invoked and then main window is minimized, small bars titled "gnucash" appear above taskbar. The number of these bars equals to the number of different menus invoked. Restoring main window would bring up empty windows to a place on the screen where they were originally dropped down. The windows themselves are empty, sized exactly as original dropdowns were, of "button" color, on the foreground (hiding info beneath them). No way to get rid of them but to restart the program. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start the program 2. Select any main menu so it drops down - no need to do any action from the menu. 3. Minimize main window - the bars above the taskbar are observed. 4. Restore the main window - the empty windows are observed. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Yes Other information:
Sorry for omission - happens on both Windows XP SP2 and vista business.
