Description Alexander “weej” Jones 2008-01-17 22:59:22 UTC
(I am a physics student)

It would be incredibly cool if Gnumeric could support uncertainty in numerical values as an integrated part of the numerical type.

This would save people having to add extra columns (or whatever) for errors.

This would also allow us to automatically add error bars to plots, and calculate propagated uncertainties without any extra formulae (do we have access to calculus stuff?).

This is essentially an even more advanced version of the advanced request in bug #68866. So we should combine those two bugs.
