Gstreamer Error in Sound Preferences in Fedora 8

I don't appear to have any sounds and I receive this error when I try to use "Test" in Sounds Preferences which is accesible from System - Preferences - Hardware - Sound audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink: Internal GStreamer error: state change failed. It's a bad error message from gconfaudiosrc, but ultimately means that your chosen output doesn't work right, so pick another one in the sound preferences. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed.
