Last modified: 2008-04-14 09:42:28 UTC
Version: 2.20.2 gnome-panel starts consuming 75% or more of the CPU and becomes unresponsive after having worked for a random number of hours. Distribution: Debian lenny/sid Gnome Release: 2.20.2 2007-11-29 (Debian) BugBuddy Version: 2.20.1
The problem started when the testing Debian distribution was upgraded one week ago. I do not know how to reproduce the problem. The program "gnome-panel" begin to eat almost all CPU suddenly, after having worked for many hours. After killing "gnome-panel", other process seem to work perfectly. I have three panels on the Desktop, with many launchers and the following applets on them: GNOME_WindowListApple GNOME_WindowMenuApplet GNOME_WorkspaceSwitcherApplet GNOME_ClockApplet GNOME_MultiLoadApplet GNOME_NotificationAreaApple SensorsApplet GNOME_GWeatherApplet GNOME_StickyNotesApple GNOME_NetspeedApplet GNOME_NetstatusApplet
