Description Bruce Cowan 2008-01-12 23:45:42 UTC
If at all possible, the map link for contacts should use OSM maps, as it makes sense from a open point of view.
Comment 1 André Klapper 2008-01-13 00:33:46 UTC
hmm, where can one add a map link?
Comment 2 Bruce Cowan 2008-01-13 03:06:23 UTC
I was perhaps jumping the gun a wee bit. The OSM name finder at http://www.frankieandshadow.com/osm/ can do some searching (such as Montrose Drive, Glasgow).

There is no way of finer searching than a road/street though.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2008-01-13 11:40:20 UTC
my question was "where in evolution can i add a map link for contacts"? :)
Comment 4 Bruce Cowan 2008-01-13 16:15:58 UTC
If you put the full address of a contact in, there should be a wee "map" link under the "Address:" field. Strangely, this only appears for my own contact listing.

When clicked, http://www.mapquest.com/ appears, which isn't very useful as you'd have to do the address search manually.
Comment 5 Bruce Cowan 2008-10-01 00:15:21 UTC
There is no longer a map link.
