Hi!

For example in configure.ac, it still search for gstreamer0.8 and 0.7. It should search for 0.10 and 0.8.

dnl check for appropriate GStreamer libs. first check for 0.8, then 0.7.

GSTREAMER_REQ="0.7.1"
GSTREAMER_MAJORMINOR="0.8"

This is correct, because gst-editor has not been ported to 0.10.  There have been other efforts to rewrite the editor, but none has succeeded.
