GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 507018
IMAP select Trash/Junk folders (Gmail)
Last modified: 2009-09-07 10:51:29 UTC
Please make a way to set those two folders like one can set the Drafts and Sent, because in Gmail IMAP they are subfolders of the "Gmail" folder: Gmail -> Trash and Gmail -> Spam.

Basically a dupe of bug #206061, isn't?

Confirming on evolution 2.27.91. Not exactly a duplicate, but #206061 certainly blocks this one. I'll leave it to the maintainers to decide severity/priority on this one. To me, breaking compatibility with IMAP services like Gmail is a major defect.
Seems my bug report has been marked as an duplicated as this one while my problem is not similar, but i will make my case again here: When using evolution I would like to be able to set the location for my special folders. On this moment I can only set my draft and sent and even then the corresponding icons are not set. Would somebody be willing to make it possible to set all the special function folders and make sure evolution sets the corresponding directory icons. So this is about the artwork and the corresponding function of the mail directories. Thanks in advance
Thanks for responding quickly. This one is older, and is specifically about the functionality of selecting folders other than draft and sent. The artwork should be updates in all cases though. Your bug contained two issues: - The ability to assign a location for special folders (which is a duplicate of this one) - The assignment of icons to selected special folders. By your language, I thought this seemed like a secondary issue. I suggest you file that separately so that it can be given proper attention on its own merits.
(In reply to comment #6) > Would somebody be willing to make it possible to set all the special function > folders and make sure evolution sets the corresponding directory icons. This is fixed within bug #362907 (In reply to comment #2) > Basically a dupe of bug #206061, isn't? I agree here, thus marking as such, because adding ability to change Junk/Trash folders as real folders will fix this one too. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 206061 ***
