Description Heine 2007-12-31 11:36:06 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When using two monitors with the smaller resolution to the LEFT of the larger, and slightly offset, so that the top of the smaller monitor is below the top of the larger monitor the workspace is not rectangular and the point (0,0) is not a monitor.

Many report / search windows popup with their top-right on a point outside an actual monitor (I presume either on (0,0) or a small offset thereof).

Steps to reproduce:
1. Configure two monitors as above
2. Search for an invoice

Actual results:
The search invoice window pops up, but is partially (upper edges) offscreen

Expected results:
The search invoice window pops up, and is completely visible.

Does this happen every time?
Yes provided the window is not moved and the new location saved

Still exists in version 2.3.3.

Occurs with all items that open a new window that does not have saved position.

As a work around, because the new windows have a new entry on the taskbar you can right click on the window title in the taskbar and select move. Using the arrow keys will now move the window so that the new position can be saved.

Does this still occur with the latest GnuCash version (2.4.11) ?
