Starting with g-c-c 2.21.4, the multimedia keys don't work anymore. I can assign keycodes in gnome-keybinding-properties, but the keys have no effect. It was working fine in 2.12.2. I'm using Mandriva Cooker i586 with gnome 2.21.4.

I believe this bug was caused by the change in bug #165343 which has been reverted and reopened because of this issue.

In 2.21.5 with gnome-settings-daemon 2.21.5.2, I can use the keys for volume and mute, but I cannot use the play/stop keys in rhythmbox.

Still the same with 2.21.90 and gnome-settings-daemon 2.21.90.

with svn rhythmbox the keys work fine. Applications must be ported to the new dbus API.
