the bug can be reproduce :

- on the desktop open the directory new_photo
- the unique file in it is 105_pana right-click on it and select properties
- keep the properties open and double click on the icon representing the USB mass storage disk (/media/disk) (digital camera)
- open /media/disk/dcim directory
- the unique file in it is 105_pana right-click on it and select properties

The bug occure !

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
Unfortunately, the stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash.

Could you please help fixing this by installing some debugging packages [1], start the application as normal, and try to reproduce the crash, if possible?

my testing is not fully "up-to-date" so some dbg package are not installable without changing the library version ; so in a first time I keep the version and try reproduce bug

dbg symbol installation status: 
- nautilus ok
- libglib2 ok
- libgtk2  ok
- libpango ok
- libgnome-vfs2.0 not ok 1:2.20.0-1 (now) 1:2.20.1-1 (testing)
- libgnomeui-0    not ok 2.18.1-2 (now) 2.20.1.1-1 (testing)
- libgnome2-0     not ok 2.18.0-4 (now) 2.20.1.1-1 (testing) and no libgnome2-0-dbg package found

the bug is reproduce :
- I first try the intial file /media/disk/dcim/105_pana right click then select properties (I say file but it's a directory containing photos, sorry for the mistake) where bug appear and it appear again with this stack :
