Steps to reproduce:
1. entering pan & at the console produces the output below
2. the app was working correctly for last 2 weeks before this occurred
3. running the latest version from debian testing
4. reinstalling the app produced no solution



Stack trace:
pan: parts.cc:244: void pan::Parts::set_parts(const pan::PartBatch&): Assertion `pch == part_mid_buf + part_mid_buf_len' failed.

this may be the same bug as reported at 492911.

deleting tasks.nzb resolved the problem and pan opened normally.
