GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 504226
better desktop integration
Last modified: 2014-08-02 12:55:27 UTC
submitting bug based on the wishlist section of http://live.gnome.org/Hipo: Better desktop integration ,for instance sync with tomboy notes, evolution's calendar and contacts, f-spot/eog photos.
Isn't Hipo supposed to be only a management tool? Apps like Conduit (http://www.conduit-project.org/) are likely to handle synchronization better than we will ever do.
Anyone who'll work on this, please also have a look at http://live.gnome.org/Tomboy/PlaceForNewIdeas "Export to iPod" and consider getting into contact with the Tomboy developers.
The last Hipo code changes took place in April 2008: https://git.gnome.org/browse/archive/hipo/log/ This project is not under active development anymore. This project got recently archived in GNOME Git. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development. Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
