Since upgrading gstreamer/gstreamer plugins base to 0.10.15 I'm not able to play
mp3 files anymore. CVS HEAD version seems to be affected as well.

gst-launch playbin or uridecodebin works perfectly after downgrading to 0.10.14

Yep, known issue (packagers need to patch
gst-plugins-good and/or -ugly for now until we make new good/ugly releases, sorry about that).  It's really a bug in the -plugins.
