Description Alexander van Loon 2007-12-04 11:16:29 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I reply to an e-mail, the e-mail address to which I sent the reply is automatically added to the "Personal" address book. I'm sure that in "Edit -> Preferences -> Mail Preferences -> Automatic Contacts" the "Automatic Contacts" option is disabled. This bug is new to me, I've never experienced it when using Evolution until I did a fresh install of Ubuntu 7.10 with Evolution 2.12.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Reply to an e-mail.
2. Observe that the e-mail address to which the reply was sent, is now added to the "Personal" address book.

Actual results:
E-mail adresses to which replies are sent are automatically added to the "Personal" address book.

Expected results:
E-mail adresses should not automatically be added to the "Personal" address book without my consent, because I haven't enabled the "Automatic Contacts" option.

Does this happen every time?
For me this happens every time. But I wonder if others can reproduce this or have encountered this bug as well?
