Description clubsoda 2007-11-26 16:00:59 UTC
When holding the Ctrl key to select multiple files, the first file which was highlighted does not become part of the selected group. This is unexpected when compared to the majority of other file manager applications.

By contrast, when holding the Shift key to select multiple files, all files including the initially highlighted (blue) file are selected. This is the expected behaviour.

When using Ctrl, it is likely the first selected file will be unintentionally omitted from any actions which follow. It is not clear why there is a distinction between a file which has been clicked (blue highlight) and a file which has been selected (red highlight).
