Please describe the problem:
Application Launcher for location can be created on gnome panel, but after logging out/logging in it becomes unusable

Steps to reproduce:
1. Right-click on gnome panel->Add to panel->Custom application Launcher
2. Select "Type: Location"
3. Type in: "Name: home",  "Location: /home/myname/", select any icon
4. Log out, Log in. 

Actual results:
step 1-3 will create a working location launcher on gnome panel.
after step 4 all fields become empty.
