GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 499580
Desktop icons are not rearranged when resolution changes
Last modified: 2008-03-23 20:24:53 UTC
Please describe the problem: This affects me from years because I have to use my gnome desktop from local machine and also remotely using XDMCP. The problem is that, when I use gnome under my local machine, with 1280x1024 resolution screen, icons are arranged for covering desktop properly. But, when I login from a remote machine with 1024x768 resolution, I have to rearrange desktop icons because, if I don't do that, I miss a lot of them in the "down" part I think that nautilus should auto arrange desktop icons depending on running resolution Thanks a lot Steps to reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
