Description Sandrine Soudant 2007-11-22 21:50:55 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Remanent effect are displayed on the cursor when pencil, paintbrush, eraser, airbrush, clone, healing, blur/sharpen, smudge, dodge/burn are used.

Steps to reproduce:
1. create a new image
2. select one tool among pencil, paintbrush, eraser, airbrush, clone, healing, blur/sharpen, smudge, dodge/burn
3. move the mouse over the working image

Actual results:
A green trace follows the cursor which quickly covers all the image

Expected results:
no remanent effect or trace

Does this happen every time?
yes

Other information:
Fedora 8 with XFCE using Gimp 2.4.1, same with Gimp 2.4.0
To delete the trace and remanent effect, I use a larger window over my working image.

Thanks, when I put (xor-color (color-rgb 1.0 1.0 1.0)) in my .gimp-2.4/gimprc file, it works fine.
