GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 498182
Print to Generic Postscript - feed orientation ignored
Last modified: 2018-06-29 21:54:48 UTC
Please describe the problem: When trying to print a report to Generic Postscript in landscape format, rotated by 90 Degrees, the feed orientation is ignored. This applies to both preview and the generated PS file. Steps to reproduce: 1. create a report 2. print to Generic Postscript in landscape format, rotated by 90 Degrees 3. preview or print to file Actual results: The result is a landscape format page with the content printed on it as though it was a portrait page (top and bottom cut off). Expected results: Does this happen every time? yes Other information: Work-around: choose a real printer (in my case HP laserjet) and create a preview of the report in landscape format, rotated by 90 Degrees. This preview is displayed correctly. When you then preview or print to Generic Postscript using these options, the result is correct.
