in the calendar view, when i try to create a new appoinment, it is giving an error message "Cannot create a new event You have a read-only calendar source selected. Change to Calendar View and highlight a calendar that can accept appointments." but when i go to other views, like task view or contacts view, i can create new appoinmnet by going to alt + f and choosing new appoinment. also there is error in the date setting for appoinmnet from the appoinment window. the day is shown incorrectly Distribution: Ubuntu 7.04 (feisty) Gnome Release: 2.18.1 2007-04-10 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.18.1
first one: what is not clear with the sentence "Change to Calendar View and highlight a calendar that can accept appointments."? second one: can you please elaborate? which LANG setting do you have?
let me try to elaborate my problem i am using english version. i want to create a new appoinment and for that i click on the tab ¨new¨ then a window pops up. in that window on the time tag, irrespective of the date, the day shown is always sunday. the appoiment feature is working properly, but the display of day has the problem that it always shows sunday. in case this elaboration is insufficient, reply back, i will try to send you an email with screen shots. thank you jemshid
that did not answer my questions. :-(
