GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 496070
horizontal and vertical window maximization/minimization broken
Last modified: 2007-11-13 01:30:47 UTC
Please describe the problem: I am intensively using hotkeys to toggle window maximization. I don't just use full window maximazition toggle but also the vertical and horizontal toggelings. Since gnome 2.20 only the full window maximization toggle is functioning correctly, horizontal/vertical max. toggle only are screwed up after one did a single full window max. toggle. Ahh and this is a regression bug, it was working all fine in 2.18 and many version below that. Steps to reproduce: To reproduce, assign keys to toggle window maximzation, I use: <apple>+M -> maximization toggle <apple>+H -> horizontal maximization toggle <apple>+V -> vertical maximization toggle 1. Now open a small window (it must be a freshly opened one) 2. press <apple>+M twice - the window will be fully maximized and restored to what it was before 3. press <apple>+V once - the window will again be maximized but not only vertically but fully - ahh yes and the same happens with <apple>+H 4. press <apple>+V again - the window will now not restore to the previous size/location but remains horizontally maximized (with <apple>+H it would now be vertically maximized) Actual results: the bug occurs Expected results: the bug not to occur Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
