Description Jérôme Guelfucci 2007-11-10 11:31:19 UTC
Please describe the problem:
This was reported on Launchpad: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnumeric/+bug/120953
by: https://bugs.launchpad.net/~pot

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start entering a formula, use references, check that F4 works for switching between relative and absolute reference.
2. Stop entering the formula, click on any cell, then C-c and C-v.
3. Start entering a formula again and press F4.

Actual results:
Now F4 repeats the last action done, it pastes an empty cell.

Expected results:
It should always have the same behaviour.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
I could reproduce this with gnumeric 1.7.8.
Comment 1 Morten Welinder 2007-11-10 13:25:26 UTC
That was fixed in 1.7.12

Comment 2 Jérôme Guelfucci 2007-11-10 13:41:44 UTC
Ok, sorry for the duplicate but buzilla doesn't accept a search for "F4" and I could not find another working keyword.
Comment 3 Andreas J. Guelzow 2007-11-10 18:42:08 UTC
Jérôme: There is nothing wrong with posting a duplicate bug. It typically does not take us very long to recognize a fixed bug (unless it referes to some ncinet version, ie. prior to 1.6). We rather have duplicate bugs than that users refrain from posting bugs they find.
Comment 4 Jérôme Guelfucci 2007-11-10 21:08:56 UTC
Ok thank you ! By the way I'm trying little by little to clean all bugs we have on Launchpad about gnumeric, so I'll post a few bugs in the next few days :)
