What were you doing when the application crashed? I was configuring the Remember The Milk third party handler. The crash happened after I clicked on "more", "authorize" and then "apply" Distribution: Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy) Gnome Release: 2.20.0 2007-09-17 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.18.1 System: Linux 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT 2007 i686 X Vendor: The X.Org Foundation X Vendor Release: 10300000 Selinux: No Accessibility: Disabled GTK+ Theme: IndustrialTango Icon Theme: Tango Memory status: size: 0 vsize: 0 resident: 0 share: 0 rss: 0 rss_rlim: 0 CPU usage: start_time: 0 rtime: 0 utime: 0 stime: 0 cutime:0 cstime: 0 timeout: 0 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 0 ----------- .xsession-errors (15529 sec old) --------------------- ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:864:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave ...Too much output, ignoring rest... -------------------------------------------------- Traceback (most recent call last):

When you click on "Authorize" a web page should open that asks you if you want to allow Deskbar-Applet to access your account. Did you granted access to Deskbar-Applet?

Yes I di(In reply to comment #1) > When you click on "Authorize" a web page should open that asks you if you want > to allow Deskbar-Applet to access your account. Did you granted access to > Deskbar-Applet? > I retried a few days ago and the web page poped up as you said. I could then allow the deskbar-applet to access my account. It worked ! I can't reproduce the crash.

I created a new version of this module that should fix this problem. It's available at http://www.k-d-w.org/
