Description David 2007-11-06 02:58:56 UTC
After inserting a DVD Totem will open and play the DVD. However, I cannot access the DVD menu. Also if I close Totem then open it and try to play the DVD I get an error stating: Totem cannot play this type of media (DVD) because it does not have the appropriate plugins to be able to read from the disc.

If you're using the GStreamer backend, do you have gst-plugins-ugly installed?
Comment 2 Mantas Kriaučiūnas 2007-11-10 12:13:07 UTC
I also have such problem - totem-gstreamer cannot access the DVD menu. I have totem 2.20 and gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly installed.
