Description John Durgin 2007-11-03 02:45:17 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When downloading the podcast file, if it becomes truncated for some reason, Rythmbox has no way to remove the corrupt file and re-download.
If the user manually deletes the file, then Rythmbox displays the error "Unable to find resource" if you try to play it.

Steps to reproduce:
1. replace one of the files with a truncated version (or download a file over a link that will cause it to be truncated)
2. Rythmbox will display the new time, and it will play the file up to the truncation point
3. attempt to remove the file, but not the "episode" - either through the program or manually

Actual results:
You lose the ability to play back the particular episode

Expected results:
You need a way to remove the file, but not the episode. (You can remove the episode but not the file)

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
using Comcast - which is know to send "resets" to bittorrents - may cause this kind of corruption - clearly not expected by developer
