GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 492638
Plug-in to create border creating error messages & not working
Last modified: 2008-10-30 20:03:11 UTC
Please describe the problem: When attempting to create a border on standard jpg image, am able to bring up border dialog box to establish widths & colors & such. The process does create a transparent border around original image, but then stops & gives following error message: "Plug-In 'Add Border' left image undo in inconsistant state, closing open undo groups." If after receiving that error message - can select create border - however no dialog box will appear unless i restart gimp. Steps to reproduce: 1. Start Gimp, open any jpg file 2. Filters, Decor, Border - can be default or custom settings & click "OK" 3. Will begin process, then create error message after having created transparent area around original image Actual results: Will begin process, then create error message after having created transparent area around original image - after that occurs, even tho can select "border" again, entire script fails to load/let u set any parameters until re-start GIMP Expected results: lol - ummmm - a border to be created Does this happen every time? yes - did not have problem w/ previous version of gimp - just downloaded new release on 10/31 Other information: Happy to do anything i can to help replicate problem - if would be of help to whomever tries tackling this - i am also available via Yahoo! Instant Messanger daily from about 12pm EST - 4am EST under ID paperstsoapc0. Also - if there is a plug-in/fix for problem that involves me downloading adding programming - plz include "how to for dummies" on how to install or directions to a site that will walk me thru process ;)
