Tasks: Message filters don't ex...
Last modified: 2009-10-09 10:36:38 UTC
Version: 2.10 Message filters don't execute for IMAP e-mail account. Only way to filter is select and manually execute filters with Ctrl-Y Environment: Fedora 7 Evolution 2.10.3 Cheers, Frank Distribution: Fedora release 7 (Moonshine) Gnome Release: 2.18.3 2007-07-02 (Red Hat, Inc) BugBuddy Version: 2.18.0
I have same with evo 2.22.1.
Have you enabled 'automatically apply filter on incoming mails' in account preferences ?
(In reply to comment #2) > Have you enabled 'automatically apply filter on incoming mails' in account > preferences ? > Akhil, 'Apply filters to new messages in INBOX on this server' is checked in account preferences. At this point, I am running 2.12.3 and the problem still persists. If I start Evolution anew, then filters are executed, but most other times, I have to use ctrl-Y to force the filters to be run. Thanks, Frank
Bug 324804 may help
Akhil, thank you for this information. I will go through the proposed fix in 324804 and will update this ticket with the results. Frank
This version is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. The current stable GNOME and Evolution version is 2.26. Can you please check again whether this issue still happens in Evolution 2.24 or 2.26 and update this report by adding a comment and changing the "Version" field? Thanks a lot. Again thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed for the version you originally used here. Without feedback this report will be closed as INCOMPLETE in 6 weeks.
Thanks for taking the time to report this bug; however, closing due to lack of response of the reporter, sorry. if you still see this issue with a current release of evolution (2.26.3 or 2.28.x or later), please reopen. thanks in advance.
