local delivery fails in evolution 2.12.1 -0ubuntu1 with error message
Error while Fetching Mail.

Could not open mail file /var/spool/mail: Is a directory

which is confusing as /var/spool/mail is supposed to be a directory.

This worked before upgrading to 2.12.1 and has worked for years.


Distribution: Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy)
Gnome Release: 2.20.1 2007-10-19 (Ubuntu)

change the account type to use a directory instead of a file. the change happened in order to fix bug 352346.
