GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 489170
Directories including "|" not supported by all file systems
Last modified: 2007-10-22 22:07:00 UTC
Please describe the problem: When certain podcasts are downloaded, the software will create a folder which includes the character, |. This seems to be incompatible with vfat systems, so when the folder is copied onto a USB device, it fails to copy. Steps to reproduce: 1. Add the podcast http://rss.dw-world.de/xml/podcast_sprachbar. 2. Try to copy the downloaded directory onto a USB storage device. Actual results: Failure to copy. Expected results: Successful copy. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information:
