Description Sebastien Bacher 2007-10-21 14:02:20 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155044

"Binary package hint: nautilus

There a couple of situations where I was unable to select any file using the keyboard arrow keys:

1. Say a folder has more than one file. Select all files except one. Delete them. Now you cannot select the remaining file with keyboard using the arrow keys. You have to do a refresh with F5 and only then you can select the file or you have to use Ctrl+Space.

2. Say a folder has only one file. You select it. Now un-select it by pressing Ctrl+Space. The file cannot be selected again by using the arrow keys."

I can confirm this bug. I am using gnome 2.20
Comment 2 Christian Kirbach 2008-01-29 20:06:50 UTC
I can confirm 1. but 2. works for me in nautilus 2.21.7
Comment 3 Cosimo Cecchi 2008-02-10 21:57:33 UTC
Confirming both the two issues with 2.11.90, but this is a duplicate of #378202.
Note that in case 2., you can still select the file by pressing again CTRL+Space.
