Description Behdad Esfahbod 2007-10-20 06:27:18 UTC
If I hit "Reply" to a message in my Sent folder (probably Outbox too), I get a compose window sending mail to myself, where almost certainly I meant to send another mail to the recipient of the original message, not its sender...

Incidentally if I "Reply to All" it, it does the Right Thing, that is, puts the original recipient in To: and does not all myself to To. That should be what Reply does too.

Please please please... This is quite irritating. I regularly go find a mail I sent in my Sent forlder, hit Reply and send a "ping" mail, to find out days later that the ping mail was directed at myself...

Not really. It's mental. I don't think about it. I hit Reply without thinking about it. If I could remember to think about it first to choose the right button, well, I could just type the recipient name instead...

Confirming this, since I fight with it myself a lot.
