Description Eskil Bylund 2007-10-19 17:16:08 UTC
It would be nice if one could add songs to a playlist by dragging the files from eg. Nautilus. The current behaviour is to add the songs to the library, which is nice, but when dragging to a playlist they should also be added to the list.
Comment 1 Andreas Allacher 2009-08-22 10:18:42 UTC
Actually, I tried this out with v1.5.0 from the Ubuntu Jaunty PPA and there this still doesn't work.
I mean you can drop it to a playlist but though it is added to the Music Library, it isn't added to the correct playlist which is totally annoying.
Furthermore as mentioned it is kinda "stupid" to not be able to drag and drop to the Music Library AND especially to not be able to drop to the current active playlist.

What would also be nice, would be the possibility to not only drop to a playlist but to e.g. also drop to a specific point in the current playlist.

Ah damn. That was the wrong bug I posted it in. There is actually a newer one regarding this where I wanted to post it.

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
