What were you doing when the application crashed?
Entering addresse e-mail into To field. Evolution crashes quite often when auto-completing address. I use two addressbooks, local and LDAP (CommuniGate Pro) one. Evolution stops crashing if I turn using LDAP addressbook off.
Problem exists since 2.6.
