actually any of the "two means" tests cause it to crash.

please be more specific of what you are doing. Please also tell us which version of GNumeric you are using. (yes there have been versions where this would crash. but those known crashes are fixed in current svn.)

without more specific information I have to assume that this is duplicate of an already existing (and fixed) bug report.
