Description trapanator 2007-10-12 19:34:39 UTC
The simple (Foot) menu should open almost instantaneously.

Other information:
Step to reproduce:

1. Remove the standard gnome menu ("Applications", "System", etc)
2. Add the foot (ring in Ubuntu) all-in-one menu
3. Try to click the first time, it's annoying slow. And while it's loading, the X11 freezes (I cannot click anything). Then the menu opens after 5-6 seconds!
4. Next time

It happens on *every* logins, not only ever reboots.

My system: Dell Latitude D800: Centrino Dothan 1,7 GHz and 512MB of RAM

This bug appeared in 2.16 and 2.18, too.
